Wedding Ceremonies or Wedding Photography The Grounds Usage Agreement is split into 2 sections.
Section 1 is for Wedding Ceremonies and Photography Session.
Section 2 is only for Wedding Photographs
Section 1. Wedding Ceremonies: (for 2 to 150 guests)
The application for usage allows you to have your ceremony on the grounds of Kennedy House, during the time reserved only.
This agreement does not imply that the public will not be allowed on the grounds during your ceremony. It does guarantee that your wedding will be the only wedding on the grounds during your reserved time.
The grounds will be booked for the time reserved only. Minimum one hour.
You should book adequate time for your guests to arrive, (at least one half hour before your ceremony), and an additional
1 hour after your ceremony for pictures.
We suggest the following: Ceremony is set for 3:00, you should book the grounds from 2:30 to 4:30. Half hour for your guests
to arrive prior to your ceremony, half hour for ceremony and signing of the register, congratulations from your guests,
and a full hour of photography.
You will not be able to go beyond your reserved time, please book enough time so as not to encroach upon another wedding
scheduled after yours.
There are to be no artificial flowers, no rice, no confetti on the grounds or inside Kennedy House.
There are no storage facilities or security for any items that are sent ahead of your ceremony time. Please do not have anything
brought to the grounds any earlier than your reserved time. You are responsible for the setting up and removal of any items
that you do bring. The set up time and removal time should be factored into the amount of time that you secure with the agreement.
We are unable to accommodate tents.
Chairs: can be rented from us. The maximum number of chairs is 24 allowed on the grounds at anytime. There is a limit on the
number of chairs to reduce the amount of damage to the grounds. We suggest renting chairs for your most honoured guests
or those who are unable to stand prolonged periods. Restaurant staff sets up the chairs for your usage.
Arch: can be rented from us for your special day. It is decorated with white tulle and will be set up for you.
Register Table: can be rented from us. The table rental includes a white table covering and a chair for the bride to sit at. We set up
this item for you
Canopies– We are unable to supply you with a canopy. If you rent one, please be sure it is the type that can be weighed down
or held into the ground with a thin metal tent peg that will not damage the lawn. It can only be set up within your time booked
and will not be set up by our staff.
All patio furniture for the restaurant is to remain on the patio area. All benches on the grounds are to remain undisturbed.
Food or beverages are to be supplied only by Maple Grove , and cannot be brought in from any other source. Should you
decide to have any appetizer plates, and beverages after your ceremony we can advise you. We are unable to serve any alcoholic
beverages on the grounds, due to government regulations but we can provide alternatives.
Inclement Weather, Cancellations, Refunds:
We highly suggest that you have alternative arrangements in case of bad weather. We are unable to accommodate any
weddings inside the house due to our very limited space.
Once your agreement is signed and paid for there is a no cancellation or refunds policy, no exceptions.
Reservations are held on a first paid basis only. We are unable to hold a date and time without payment.
There are no payment terms available.
Section 2. Wedding Photography Only
This agreement allows you to have your photography on the grounds of Kennedy House with reserved time exclusively for your wedding party only.
The usage agreement no way implies that the public will not be allowed on the grounds during your photography session.
The session booked will be for the time you reserve. Minimum amount of time is one hour.
Additional time can be booked with the agreement, however, if you do not book adequate time and go over your session, you will be required to pay for the additional time that you use. Please be courteous and recognize that someone else is most probably booked before your agreed upon time and also following your booked time. Discuss the time that you require for photographs on the grounds with your photographer before booking with us.
Please note that all patio furniture is for the exclusive use of restaurant guests and is to remain on the patio area.
Benches must remain where they are located on the grounds.
There is a no cancellation, no refund policy in effect.
Bookings are on a first paid basis and cannot be held without payment. There are no payment terms available.
There is no available space inside the house for photography, we do suggest that you have an alternative
arranged in case of inclement weather.
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the grounds due to government regulations.
Wedding Receptions:
Receptions are held in the restaurant area of the house, the maximum number by law allowed is 30 people (this includes babies).
We have available a special event menu for meals at Maple Grove, either in a buffet service or table service depending upon your needs. Receptions can be held after our regular restaurant hours or prior to noon for a brunch.
Our kitchen caters your entire event. We are unable to accommodate catering or food from outside sources.
We are a licensed restaurant, and carry both wine and beer for your function.
